Kristi Novac

Hello! My name is Kristi Novac. I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Cambridge Academy during the 2018-2019 school year! I adore being in the classroom, and it is my genuine hope that my students will develop a genuine love of learning as we spend the year together.

This will be my fourth year in education and my second year teaching. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Currently, I am in the process of earning my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Go Lopes!!  My intention is to build a class culture of respect, curiosity, and an enthusiastic pursuit of knowledge. I believe that collaboration is an essential skill, and we will be learning and refining our skills of collaboration and problem solving as we progress through the year.

When I’m not at school, you will probably find me with my amazing family. My husband Dan and I have been married for 16 years, and we have two awesome kids: Graham, who is 14 and a Freshman in high school, and Evelyn, who is 12 and in 6th grade. We love being in the great outdoors (well…Graham sort of gets dragged out with us!), and we often enjoy spending time hiking, kayaking, camping and fishing. Nothing beats Arizona for beautiful landscapes!

I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year!
