Lisa Chamberlain

I was born in Lansing, MI but raised in Miami, FL.  I have lived in Arizona since 1988 when my family moved here.  I graduated from Mountain View High School.  Education is my second career.  My first was in the medical field where I took x-rays at various hospitals around the valley.  I decided to pursue my love for teaching and earned a B.A. in Educational Studies from Ottawa University.  I went on to earn a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.  I am certified to teach K-8 and am a certified principal K-12.  Additionally, I hold an Internal Baccalaureate (IB) certificate.  I have taught grade 3, 4, 5, and 6 general curriculum, science and math.  I have also taught 7th and 8th grade math and pre-Algebra.  I have been teaching since 2001 and have taught primarily at Cambridge Academy but have also taught for Phoenix Unified and Florence Unified as well as abroad in Indonesia at a private international school.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending my time with my two daughters or my family.  I also love to read.
